Awesome look into Disney Animation and Design. Beautiful Book.

Disney Animation behind the scenes from the early days and beyond. Great book that provides a wealth of details on the fundamental creation and design process of some of the most compelling Disney Animation productions. This is an very large format book and that's a HUGE asset! So much to see so the presentation in such a large book format makes it all the better. Beautiful colors, interesting anecdotes, process details, drafts, final art, etc. Both the many color and tonal / black-and-white sections are clear and compelling. Nothing really bad to say about this volume. If you enjoy behind-the-scenes stuff and beautiful art pieces and great design details about all-things-Disney past present and future, then this is your book! An inspirational and "today-relevant" classic.

Great Content; Mediocre Craftsmanship

This book has absolutely wonderful content, but the interior seems of inferior printing craftsmanship than the previous two editions. I realize some people think that's just a subjective impression, but I think anyone who buys, collects, handles, or prints books knows the difference. I wouldn't let that stop me from purchasing this book, however, because the cover is just as nice, and the content, as I already mentioned, is wonderful.
Part of what makes this series great is the attempt at minimizing overlapping material from other books. Yes, about half of the material can be had in other books, but those are usually pieces that are so associated with certain films that a book would almost seem incomplete with out them. But just being able to view the "new" material would be worth the price of the book. There are Snow White concept images that I've never ever seen before, as well as other surprises that will delight the Disney art fan.

There were tips provided in here that are really useful for beginners

I was asked by my boss to lead a new important project for the company. I am quite hesitant at accepting it because I might not work it out properly since that will be the first project I will lead. My boss insist that I should go with it that is why I grabbed it already. I have to widen my knowledge with managing a project that is why I find guides that can actually help me. Reading this book gave me ideas on how I can handle it efficiently. There were tips provided in here that are really useful for beginners. I liked how this book was laid out because the contents were simple and easy to understand. I will keep this as my handy reference.

This book has helped tremendously by breaking down concepts and methodologies into simple everyday test and examples. This book is not for those who already have their feet wet in Project Management. This is more so for those who need an intro to the intro. Reading this makes me more confident in my abilities to learn more about Project Management. There is an explanation on establishing business value for undertaking a project. This section helps justify why an organization should adopt project management practices. It turns out that almost everything was worth highlighting but it forced me to read each line thoroughly.
